Grasshopper

The Biggest Animals Kingdom and in The World | Grasshopper | Grasshoppers have antennae that are generally smaller than their bodies and short ovipositor. Those species that are easy to hear the noise usually do this by rubbing their hind legs from the thigh or abdomen (stridulation front fenders), or by clicking the wings during flight. Hind femora usually long and strong, fitted for jumping. Usually, they have wings, but the hind wings are membranous while front wings (tegmina) are coriaceous and not fit for flight. Females are usually larger than males, with a short ovipositor. Ensiferans antenna has at least 20-24 segments, and there caeliferans less. Many undescribed species exist in tropical forests in particular. Caelifera grasshoppers eat mostly prefer tropical grass, leaves and grains. Most of the polyphagous grasshoppers.

Only one of the 8,000 species of locusts is monophagous and there is only one kind of plant. Digestion insect gut (stomodaeum, the mouth), midgut (intestine) and rectum (proctodeum, anal). The jaw can chew food very easy to start and mechanical digestion. Salivary glands chemically digest food, even if you eat carbohydrates in the grass, and I like them. Culture has the ability to keep food. Harvest, the food enters the stomach, the teeth are in such functions. From there, the food enters the stomach. In the stomach, digestive enzymes are mixed with food to break down. Most shops are made in the gut, but some food waste and waste from the Malpighian tubules injected into the rectum.

Salivary glands, intestine and digestive enzymes. Protease identifies colon, lipase, amylase, and invertase, along with other enzymes. Locusts have an open circulatory system, with most of the body fluid (hemolymph) filling body cavities and appendages. The body is closed, the dorsal vessel, extends from the head of the chest in the back. Hemolymph forward from the rear and sides of the body through a series of valves, chambers, each of which receives a pair of lateral openings (mouth) contains. This circulation of hemolymph nutrients throughout the body and carries metabolic wastes in the Malpighian tubes are located. Why not carry oxygen, grasshopper "blood" green. Breathing is done through the trachea, air-filled tube, open at the surface of the thorax and abdomen pairs vents.

Ganglia of the nervous system of locusts, the free group of nerve cells in most species more advanced than cnidarians found under control. In grasshoppers, there are nodes in each segment and a large number in my head as the brain. Grasshoppers and tympanal organs for sound quality. In some countries, grasshoppers are eating a good protein source.  Locusts materials should be used with caution because they may contain worms. In some African countries, locusts are an important source of food, like other insects, except for protein and fat in the daily diet, especially during the food crisis. "Locusts" in Uganda and neighboring areas have a nsenene, but they really crickets, locusts, too. In some Middle Eastern countries, locusts are prepared in hot water with salt and leave to dry in the sun, that is, as a snack.

Swarm of locusts can be great damage to crops. Important species include locust gregaria locust Locusta migratoria in Africa and the Middle East and Locust piceifrons in tropical Mexico and Central America (Central America). Other important pests such as locusts (change in contrast to the true locusts, no color, if they are swarming) include Melanoplus species (like M. bivittatus, M. and M. femurrubrum differentialis) and Camnula pellucida in North America, Romalea guttata ( Grasshopper course), and Magna Brachystola Sphenarium purpurascens in Northern and Central Mexico; Rhammatocerus type in South America and Oedaleus senegalensis (Senegal Grasshopper) and spotted Zonocerus (Locust color) in Africa. In other arid, sandy environments and fit well with the color of dry earth or sand adapted.

Spider

The Biggest Animals Kingdom and in The World | Spider | Spiders are chelicerates and therefore arthropods. In spiders the cephalothorax and abdomen are connected by a small cylindrical section of the stem. Scorpion chelicerae have three sections and are used for food. The upper sections generally have thick "beards" that filter solid lumps out of their diet, such as spiders may only take liquid food. Pedipalps generally form large claws of the Scorpion, to catch prey, while the very small appendages of spiders, their bases to act as an extension of the mouth, than those of male spiders enlarged last sections used for the transfer of sperm.

In the spider cephalothorax and abdomen are connected by a small cylindrical stem, so that the belly move independently in the production of silk. The abdomen is soft, egg-shaped. There are no signs of segmentation, unless the Mesothelae primitive, whose members live Liphistiidae segmented plates on the upper surface. Like other arthropods, spiders are coelomates in which the coelom is to small areas around the reproductive and excretory systems reduced.

The blood of many spiders have lungs, the respiratory pigment hemocyanin book is to make more efficient oxygen transport. Spiders have developed several different respiratory anatomies, based on book lungs, a tracheal system, or both. Mygalomorph and spiders have two pairs of lungs Mesothelae book with haemolymph, where openings on the ventral surface of the abdomen in order to enter the air and filled to diffuse oxygen.

The trachea was connected by surrounding a pair of openings as air holes, but fused in the plurality of spiders this pair of air holes in a in the middle and moved back close to the spinneret. Spiders, tracheae generally have higher metabolic rates and better water conservation. Uniquely among chelicerates, the final sections of spiders chelicerae teeth, and the vast majority of spiders can inject venom into prey from venom glands in the roots of the chelicerae are. Uloboridae The family lost its venom glands, and instead kills its prey with silk. Like most arachnids, including scorpions, spiders have a well-established that they have nothing to do with the liquid food and spiders, two sets of filters to keep solids out.

Others grind the prey with the chelicerae and the bases of the pedipalps mash form during floods the system with the enzymes in these species the chelicerae and the bases of the pedipalps a cavity that contains the preoral food you prepare. The cephalothorax stomach acts like a pump which sends the food deeper digestive system. Most spiders convert the waste products of nitrogen in uric acid that can be excreted as a dry material.  With the exception of Mesothelae primitive, from which the Liphistiidae are the only surviving family, spiders have the central nervous system is much more typical of arachnids

all the ganglia of all segments are fused behind the esophagus, so that the cephalothorax is largely filled with nervous tissue and there are no ganglia in the abdomen Mesothelae remain the ganglia of the abdomen and the back of the cephalothorax unsecured The belly has no attachments, except those that have been modified to form 03.59 clock (generally three) pairs of short chains, furniture, or that make the silkThere are at least six different types of silk gland, each of which a different type of silk Silk consists mainly of a protein is very similar to that in insect silk.

Some spiders have a cribellum, a chain of up to 40,000 cones modified, each of which generates a single very fine fiber. The earliest spiders had cribella that has produced the first silk capable of catching insects, spider silk coated with sticky droplets developed first. However most modern groups of spiders have lost cribellum. Tarantulas also have silk glands in the legs. Spiders reproduce sexually and fertilization is internal but indirectly, in other words, the sperm is inserted into the body of the female by the male genitalia, but an intermediate step. Unlike many of the terrestrial arthropods, and male spiders do not produce finished spermatophores (packets of sperm) but spin small webs that ejaculate sperm and then transferring the sperm to syringe-like structures at the tips of their pedipalps.

Spiders use elaborate mating rituals, as a rule to great women from eating the small males before fertilization, when the male is much smaller that it is not worthwhile to avoid eating. In web-weaving species precise patterns of vibrations on the Web are an important part of the rituals, while patterns of touches to the body of the female in many spiders that hunt actively, are important and can "hypnotize" the female. Gestures and dances by the male are for jumping spiders, which have an excellent view, important. If courtship is successful, the male injects his sperm from the pedipalps of the female genital opening, known as the epigynum, on his abdomen. Female reproductive traits vary from simple tubes to systems that are forward-looking container, in which females store sperm and release it when finished. The males of the genus Tidarren amputate one of their palps before maturation and enter adult life with one palp only.

In the Yemeni species Tidarren Argo, the remaining palp is then torn from the female. In the meantime the female feeds on the male palpless. In some species the females to die, but females of other species by protecting the bags to their networks, by hiding them in nests bring in their chelicerae or attaching them to businesses and to attract them. Some spiders care for their young, for example, a wolf spider brood cling to rough bristles on the mother's back, and the females of some species on the behavior of "begging" for their young by responding provided them the prey, that is not difficult or even regurgitate food. Like other arthropods, spiders are still, to grow as their cuticle ("skin") not stretch. In some species, males copulate, when mutated, they are too weak to support a risk for men. Most spiders live only one or two years, although some tarantulas can live in captivity for over 20 years

Guanine is responsible for the white spots of the European Council of spider Araneus diadematus. Structural colors occur in some species that are the result of diffraction or interference of light scattering for example hair or modified scale. Build some kinds of spiders, webs live together in large colonies and show social behavior, although not as complex as in social insects. The genus Anelosimus has a strong tendency towards sociality: all known American species are social and species in Madagascar, at least some "social members of other species of the same family but different genera have independently varying social behavior developed, for example one, though. Other municipalities, including spiders Philoponella various species (family Uloboridae) Agelena subsidiary (Family Agelenidae) and Mallos gregalis (Family Dictynidae). Social spiders need predators to defend their prey against kleptoparasites ("thieves"), and larger colonies are more successful in this. The herbivorous spider Bagheera kiplingi lives in small colonies on protect eggs and spiderlings help.

Dragonfly

The Biggest Animals Kingdom and in The World | Dragonfly | Previously, the Anisoptera were given a rank next to the "dragonflies" Suborder Anisozyoptera (old) that were thought to contain two types of living species and numerous fossil ones Epiophlebia. The artificial grouping Anisozyoptera dissolves, its members being recognized as largely extinct offshoots at various stages of dragonfly evolution. The two species formerly placed dragonflies form the infraorder Anisoptera Epiophlebioptera relics Asian side. In general, large dragonflies as the vendors have a top speed of 10-15 meters per second (22-34 mph) with the average speed cruise of about 4.5 meters per second (10 mph) ladies (sub -order Zygoptera), being generally smaller than dragonflies, sometimes confused with dragonflies just moulted. However, once driven by dragonfly, is already fully developed.

The eyes of a young woman is outside, in most dragonflies the eyes touch. The largest living odonates scale is actually a lady from South America, Megaloprepus caerulatus (Drury, 1782) and the second largest of the women are brainwashed Tetracanthagyna dragonfly (Wilson, 2009). In Europe, dragonflies have often been viewed as sinister. Swedish folklore, believed that the devil uses dragonflies to weigh people's souls. The Norwegian name for dragonflies is "Øyenstikker", which literally means Eye Poker and Portugal, which are sometimes called "shot-olhos" (eye-thief).

Southern United "snake doctor" States refers to a folk belief that dragonflies follow snakes and sew back together, if they are injured. For some tribes of Native Americans representing the speed and activity, and for Navajo they symbolize pure water dragonflies are a common motif in Zuni pottery Dragonflies and damselflies in the United States is viewed as a hobby similar to birding and butterflying, known as Oding, the Latin species name dragonfly Odonata. Images of dragonflies were common in Art Nouveau, especially in jewelry design. Douglas, a British motorcycle manufacturer based in Bristol, the name for their innovative design of the post-war boxer 350cc model, the Dragonfly. As a symbol of the season in Japan, the dragonfly is associated with the early summer and late autumn and early.

More generally, Japan dragonflies are symbols of courage, strength, and happiness, and often appear in art and literature, especially haiku. The love for dragonflies is reflected in the fact that there are traditional names for almost all of the 200 species of dragonflies found in and around Japan. Dragonflies Errors pebbles for prey, is entangled in her hair, and is dragged to the ground by the weight. Beyond these historical names of Japan - Akitsushima (Kanji: Hiragana 秋 津 岛: あきつしま) - is an archaic form that literally means Dragonfly Island.

Butterfly

The Biggest Animals Kingdom and in The World | Butterfly | Populaire is a belief that butterflies have very short life cycles. However, Butterflies as adults can live a week een almost a year, depending on the species. Many species have long life stages of larven, while others may remain latent in pop or egg stages and thereby survive winters. Butterflies may have one or more offspring per year. Butterfly eggs are protected by a corrugated duur Buitenkant capaciteit Cascara, called the chorion. Each egg contains a number of small funnel-shaped openings at one end, called micropyles, for the purpose of these holes is to allow sperm to enter and fertilize een egg. The forms of Dry season usually cryptic zoon and has been suggested that the protection offered may be adapted. Bicyclus anynana is a species of butterfly which presents a clear example of seasonal polyphenism. These butterflies, endemic-Afrika, has two distinct phenotypic forms that alternate with the seasons. Bee

The Biggest Animals Kingdom and in The World | Bee | Bees play an important role in pollinating flowering plants, and are the major type of pollinators in ecosystems that contain flowering plants. Bees either focus on gathering nectar or pollen collection in line with demand, especially in social species. Bees collect nectar may accomplish pollination, but bees that are deliberately gathering pollen are more efficient pollinators.

Monoculture and the massive decline of many bee species (wild and domesticated) have increasingly caused honey bee keepers to become migratory so that bees can be concentrated in the seasonal variation in areas greater than the demand for pollination. Most bees are fuzzy and carry an electrostatic charge, which facilitates the adherence of pollen. Female bees periodically stop foraging and groom themselves to pack the pollen into the scopa, which is on the legs in most bees, and the ventral abdomen on others, and published in specialized pollen baskets on the legs of bees and their families.

A small number of plants produce nutritious floral oils rather than pollen, which is collected and used by bees oligolectic. A small subgroup of stingless bees, called "vulture bees", is specialized to feed on carrion, and these are the only bees that do not use plant products as food. In New Zealand scientists have discovered that three kinds of native bees have evolved to open flower buds of mistletoe native tetrapetala Peraxilla. Nowhere else in the world, the bees have demonstrated the ability to open explosives flowers adapted birds.

Visiting flowers can be dangerous business. Many bugs and crab spiders murderous hide in flowers to capture unwary bees. Other bees are lost to birds in flight. Insecticides used on blooming plants kill many bees, both by direct poisoning and contamination of the food they eat. The value of the fraction of bees depends partly on the effectiveness of individual bees, but also from the same population. Thus, while bumblebees have been found about ten times more efficient pollinators on cucurbits, the total return of a colony of bees is much greater because a larger number. other bee species, such as Mason bees are increasingly cultured and used to meet the pollination needs of agriculture.

Native pollinators include bumblebees and solitary bees, which often survive in refuge in wild areas away from agricultural spraying, but it can still be poisoned in massive spray programs for mosquitoes, moths, insects or other pests. The rules of the law of the United Kingdom in 1980, API has been designed to stop the decline of bees Bees, like ants, are a specialized form of wasp. The ancestors of bees were wasps in the family Crabronidae, and therefore predators of other insects. Recently reported bee fossil, Melittosphex example, is considered "an extinct lineage of pollen-collecting Apoidea sister to modern bees," and dates of Early Cretaceous (about 100 million years).

The first flowers were pollinated animal pollinated by insects such as beetles, so that the syndrome of insect pollination was well established before bees first appeared.  Among the groups of bees living, the "short-tongued" bee family Colletidae taxon has traditionally been considered more "primitive", and his sister for the rest of the bees. This subject is still under debate, and phylogenetic relationships among bee families are poorly understood. Bees may be solitary or live in different communities. The most advanced of these are eusocial colonies found among the bees, bumble bees and stingless bees. Sociality, of several types, is believed to have evolved separately many times within the bees.

There are many species of eusocial bees highly eusocial bees more primitive, but have rarely been studied. The vast majority are in the family Halictidae, or "sweat bees". The Most species have a single season colony cycle, even in the tropics, and only mated females (future queens, or "gynes") hibernate (called diapause). Some species have long active seasons and attain colony sizes in the hundreds. The orchid bees include a number of primitive eusocial species with similar biology. Some species of bees allodapine (carpenter bees relatives) also primitively eusocial colonies, with unusual levels of interaction between adult bees and brood in the developing world. This system is also visible in some bees and bumblebees.

Highly eusocial bees live in colonies. Each colony has one queen, many workers and, in certain phases of the colony cycle, drones. Bumblebees (Bombus terrestris, Bombus pratorum, et al.) The queen starts a nest on its own (unlike queens of honey bees and stingless bees which start nests by swarms in the company of a large labor force). Bumblebee colonies are generally 50 to 200 bees at peak population, which occurs in mid to late summer. Nest architecture is simple, limited by the size of the nest cavity (pre-existing), and colonies are rarely perennial. Bumblebee queens sometimes seek winter refuge in beehives, where they are sometimes found dead in the spring by beekeepers, said probably to death by bees.

Bees most other families, including species of bees, like carpenter bee eastern (Xylocopa virginica), alfalfa leafcutter bee (Megachile rotundata), orchard mason bee (Osmia lignaria) and hornfaced bee (Osmia cornifrons ) are solitary in the sense that every woman is fertile, and generally inhabits a nest she constructs. There are no worker bees for these species. Solitary bees usually produce no honey or beeswax. They are immune to the mites and Varroa mites, but have their own parasites, pests and diseases (see also bee diseases). Solitary bees are important pollinators, and pollen is collected to supply the nest with food for their offspring. Some solitary bees have very advanced types of pollen carrying structures on their bodies. A very few species of solitary bees are increasingly cultured for commercial pollination.

Solitary bees are often oligoleges, since only gather pollen from one or a few species or genera of plants, in contrast to bees and bumblebees which are generalists). There are known bees are nectar specialists oligolectic many bees will visit multiple plants for nectar, but there are no bees which visit only one plant for nectar while also gathering pollen from many different sources . Specialized pollinators also include bee species that gather floral oils instead of pollen, and male orchid bees, which gather aromatic compounds from orchids (one of the only cases where male bees are effective pollinators ). In very rare cases a single species of bee can effectively pollinate a plant species, and some plants are in danger, at least in part because their pollinator is dying.

Solitary bees create nests in hollow reeds or twigs, holes in wood, or, more commonly, in tunnels in the ground. A nest may consist of many cells. Provide nest boxes for solitary bees is increasingly popular for gardeners. Solitary bees are either stingless or very unlikely to sting (only in self defense, if ever). Large groups of solitary bee nests are called aggregations, to distinguish them from colonies. Cleptoparasitic bees, commonly called "cuckoo bees" because their behavior is similar to cuckoo birds, occur in several bee families, though the name is technically best applied to the subfamily Nomadinae APID. Females of these bees have no pollen gathering structures (broom), and they build their nests. typically enter the nests of pollen collecting species and lay their eggs in the cells indicated by the host bee.

When the cuckoo bee larva hatches it consumes pollen ball of the host larva, and if the kleptoparasite women have not already done so, kills and eats the host larva. In some cases where the hosts are social species, the kleptoparasite remains in the host nest and lays many eggs, sometimes even killing the host queen and replacing it. Cleptoparasitic many bees are closely related, and resemble, their hosts in looks and size, (ie, the Bombus subgenus Psithyrus, which are parasitic bumblebees that infiltrate nests of other species in the subgenera of Bombus). Others parasitize bees in different families, as a Townsendiella Nomadine ApID, a species in a Hesperapis kleptoparasite dasypodaid gender, while other birds and bees, which are generally halictid attack.

Four bee families (Andrenidae, Colletidae, Halictidae and Apidae) contain some species that are crepuscular (this may be the type of Vespertine or morning). This led to widespread belief, that bees "violate aerodynamic theory", but in reality it merely confirms that bees do not engage fixed-wing flight, and that their flight is explained by the mechanics, such as those used by helicopters. In 2005, Michael Dickinson and his Caltech colleagues studied honey bee flight with the help of high-speed cinematography and a giant robotic mock-up of a bee wing. Increased frequency of flapping wings with decreasing size of the genre, but as a flapping of bees covering a small flap of approximately 230 times per second, faster than a fly (200 times per second) which is 80 times smaller.

Journalist Bee Wilson states that the image of a community of bees "occurs from ancient to modern times, in Aristotle and Plato, Virgil and Seneca, in Erasmus and Shakespeare, Tolstoy, and by social theorists Bernard Mandeville and Karl Marx. Despite the pain of bee stings and the stereotype of insects as pests, bees are generally held in high esteem. Bees are one of the few insects used on advertisements frequently used to illustrate honey and foods made with honey (as Honey Nut Cheerios). In ancient Egypt, the bee was seen to symbolize the land of Lower Egypt, with Pharaoh being listed as "He who Sedge and Bee" (sedge represents Upper Egypt). Although a bee sting can be fatal for people with allergies, virtually all species of bees are not aggressive so quiet and many can not sting at all. Humans are often a greater danger to bees, how bees can be affected or injured by encounters with toxic chemicals in the environment (see also Bees and toxic chemicals).
